🩵🤍🖤Tripp-Delmont Soar and Explore Days are a great opportunity for our elementary and secondary students to learn, grow, and explore their passions! Our staff provides amazing extra-curricular learning opportunities, but we also know learning extends beyond the classroom!
So we are looking for volunteers who want to share talents or fun, engaging educational opportunities with our kids! Ideas can include, but are not limited to, cooking, sewing, robotics, sports, tours of local businesses, etc.
Soar and Explore is held from 12:45 to 2:45 p.m. on two Fridays each month during the school year.

Day 2 in the books at Washington DC. Such an emotional day visiting all the Memorials and Arlington National Cemetery and changing of the Guard. Also hit Vietnam Memorial Wall, Korean War, Lincoln Memorial. What a day!

The curtain is down, and the work is well underway!
🔹 All windows in the original part of the school are being replaced by Interstate Glass.
🔹 Tuck pointing and masonry restoration work is being completed by Midcontinent Restoration.

Age Requirements
• Children who turn 3 years old before September 1st will be placed in PK3.
• Children who turn 4 years old before September 1st will be considered for PK4.
If your child is 4 years old but has not had previous preschool experience, alternative scheduling may be considered.
Additional Information
It is highly recommended that all students are toilet-trained prior to the start of the school year.

Today was a bittersweet day in kindergarten as we got to snap a special picture with our amazing principal before her next adventure begins. Thank you, Mrs. Leibel, for the love, support, smiles, and encouragement you have given our kindergarten kiddos each and every day. Your kindness and leadership have made such a difference in our school and community.
Our kindergarten friends will miss your hallway visits, cheerful greetings, and the way you made school feel like home. Wishing you nothing but happiness and success in this new chapter-once a part of our kindergarten family, always a part of it!!

Our kindergarten classroom had a very special visitor today! A retired kindergarten teacher came to spend time with our kinder kiddos and first graders and shared her very own made up stories with them.
The children were completely captivated by her imagination, creativity, and storytelling. There were so many smiles, laughs and wide eyes as they listened to each adventure unfold. What a wonderful way to inspire young minds and remind us all of the magic of storytelling thank you Peggy Frederich for making today so special for our kindergarten friends.

Our kindergarten kiddos had an amazing day on their field trip to the Washington Pavilion!!
From hands-on learning to exploring and discovering new things, the students had so much fun together. There were lots of smiles, excitement, and unforgettable memories made throughout the day. Field trips like these are such a wonderful way to learn beyond the classroom walls.

A little late posting! The 5th grade attended the Arbor Day Event at Milltown on April 28.
4th and 5th grade had an amazing week of STARBASE! We wrapped up our week of learning with a trip to the Air Base in Sioux Falls.
Celebrating Senior Skyler Thomas
Skyler Zachary Thomas, born on September 16, 2007, is ready to take the next step after graduation with big goals and a clear vision for the future. The child of Stephanie Budihas and David Thomas, Skyler has three sisters: Katrina Thomas, Gracie Eells, and Aimee Budihas. After high school, Skyler plans to attend South Dakota State University (SDSU) to pursue a degree in Aviation.
Looking back on high school, one moment Skyler would relive is freshman year homecoming day. Throughout the years, Skyler has developed a strong mindset about success, believing it means striving to be the best version of yourself in everything you do. One of the biggest lessons learned during high school is the importance of living in the moment. Instead of dwelling on the past or worrying too much about the future, Skyler values being present and making the most of each day.
After graduation, what will be missed most are the unforgettable events like homecoming and prom, moments that students look forward to all year, and that create lasting memories. No high school experience is complete without a few embarrassing moments. For Skyler, one that stands out is the first day of 7th grade, showing up in a bright neon green outfit from head to toe, a memory that his classmates won’t let him forget. As Skyler moves forward, there’s no doubt that the lessons learned, memories made, and goals ahead will lead to a successful, exciting future.

Isabel Jean LeFebvere was born on February 16, 2009. Her parents are Robert and Catherine Konrad. She plans to attend Dakota Wesleyan University this fall, where she will major in Accounting. She has three sisters, Addison LeFebvere, Eloise Konrad, and Emelia Konrad.
During her time at Tripp-Delmont High School, Isabel demonstrated a strong commitment to both academic and extracurricular involvement. Isabel is one of the senior class Student Council Representatives. She has been an active member of band, National Honor Society, Student Council, the honor roll, peer mentoring, track, cross-country, and theater. As part of her senior project, Isabel organized and led a “Play in a Day” initiative for younger students, giving them the opportunity to collaborate and perform a production in a single day. An experience that showcased her leadership and creativity.
Isabel credits her parents as a major influence on her high school journey, noting that they have consistently encouraged her to become the best version of herself. When asked what she is most grateful for, she said, “Above all, I’m most thankful for the friendships I’ve built during high school. While people often say you meet your lifelong friends later in life, I genuinely hope to stay connected with the people I’ve grown close to here.”
Reflecting on her high school experience, Isabel said, “If I could change one thing, it would be my involvement in extracurriculars. I wish I had more chances, like trying out for every sport, play, and club that interested me.”
With her senior year winding down, she is feeling incredibly excited to close this chapter in her life and look ahead to what’s next. She is very excited about the next chapter at Dakota Wesleyan University. While she has not yet finalized her long-term career plans, she looks forward to exploring opportunities within her field of study.
To end on a lighter note, if you ever find yourself in a food fight with Isabel, beware - her weapon of choice would be ice cream, because she said it would leave her opponent both cold and smelling like spoiled milk.
