Watching our senior mentors and the kindergarten friends work side-by-side today was something special. Together, they created beautiful butterflies -each one unique, colorful, and full of personality, just like the friendships they're building.
Just like butterflies, these connections remind us that growth takes time, patience, and a little bit of help along the way. Our seniors are guiding, encouraging, and helping their kindergarten friends spread their wings, while learning just as much from them in return.
From tiny hands to big hearts, it's amazing to see these friendships take flight.

In a small town, some of the best friendships are the ones that span generations. Our Senior Friends and Kindergarten Kiddos spent some time together creating a fun Pot of Gold handprint project to celebrate the season. The kindergartners loved having their senior buddies help them make bright rainbow handprints leading to a pot of gold. Beyond the craft, the best part was the time spent together-talking, laughing, and building friendships that make our school and community so special. It's moments like these that remind us how lucky we are to learn and grow together in such a caring small-town school. WE ARE PRETTY SURE OUR POT OF GOLD IS THE AMAZING STUDENTS WE HAVE RIGHT HERE!! :)
