The Government class took a trip to Pierre yesterday to tour the State Capitol and learn about the legislative process. They were even fortunate enough to meet Lieutenant Governor Larry Rhoden, as well as, District 19 Senator Kyle Schoenfish and Representative Jessica Bahmuller.

Retired kindergarten teacher Peggy Friederich came to school to tell the kindergartners and first graders the story of Abraham Lincoln. She does an amazing job, and the kids really enjoyed it. Here is a little trivia...Peggy Friederich was Mrs. Mogck's Kindergarten Teacher.

The Seniors participated in a "mock trial" last week in Government class while learning about the Judicial Branch. They did Great!
